It was as the Malfoys finally began to leave that Adrik jerked Edward backward, not too hard, but just enough. Showing the public he respected his elite, but he that he was strict. And Edward knew exactly just how much. And when he was nearly positive Mal nor Mrs. Malfoy could hear he spoke up, "Shit!" His shoulder was hurting like hell! "Dammit, could you let go!" He hissed, jerking himself away.
A scowl painted Adrik's features, he grabbed Edward by the arm, and without a glance over his shoulder shoved his boy into the nearest alley. No matter how rough he seemed, Adrik always could keep a manor of charm. That demeanor that he was above you, that he deserved his place, and that he would get respect. And it was always given.
Right now all Edward could wish was that he had done something to get out of this. That some how, some way he could just turn, run, and get to the Malfoys before they disappeared. Knowing that this alley wasn't the most hidden of places gave him small hope. Adrik wouldn't do anything too bad here.
"Who is your father, Edward?" His tone made his boy cringe. Just being thankful he wouldn't be under the same roof as Adrik the next few nights was enough to keep Ed from falling down too deeply--into fear that is, "Edward." His tone darkened, gained a sense of warning.
Swallowing, "You, sir." Just standing there, he kept the mask of cool upon his face. Refusing to show his fear for the old man in the public eye. His hand snapped out and gripped Edward's chin tightly, pulling his face far far too close, "You better remember that next time, boy."
It came out before Edward could stop it, "Can't promise ya that, Pops. I have your intelligence!" Mock very very evident. Not a good idea. And the second after he said it, eyes widened. Edward's.
Only one thing crossed his mind.
Run. oh, that and...SHIT!
