Abraxas was not often alone, but when he was then it was usually not a bad thing. Not for him anyway, for everyone else though... quite possibly. He wandered through the dungeons, quite pleased with himself currently. Wearing a silver hoop through his left ear, he had been ticked off in front of his charms class for doing so. Three people had laughed. Now they were in a sticky mess of their own. He didn't enjoy being mocked, so instead he chose revenge that would be remembered for next time. In their case, he had used a charm to make everything they touched stick to them. Simple, yet effective.
The point of the exercise was simply to show the point that no one messed with this Malfoy. His family name was enough to rectify that mistake, but he chose to enforce the reputation when possible. Sighing to himself, he stopped in the dungeons, in a secluded quarter and produced his latest interest, a book written on magic of old, myths, legends and facts blended. Though he would not admit it to anyone, he liked reading...sometimes.
Leaning against the wall, he flicked it open and read a page with interest, his expression losing its arrogance and mischief as he dissolved his thoughts into the words. It was interesting. But then..most things were given time. Snapping it shut as he heard a noise, Mal looked up and toward the direction of the noise. Hiding the text, he said nothing, but waited for the intruder to show themselves.

Belvina unlike the others always found time to be alone. She needed time to herself to think and to meditate in a non-hinduism or buddisim kind of way. She kknew because she was forced to take muggle-studies, the stupid class. Why would she wnt to learn about effing eleck-trity? She ws content with being a Witch and a good one at that. She had just had Tranfiguration and some mud-blood had made a dick of himself ruining what ever repuation he had with anyone but Slytherins.
Walking down the cold dungeon hallway she came deeper into the dungeon, it was dark and barely lit. Her pale skin has by far the brightest thing in the hallway walking gravefully towards as she wound deeper into the dungeons she heard light breathing and a book snapping shut. She hit the heel of her shoe on the floor softly so the person would know she was there. She saw a flash of blonde hair and instantly knew who it was. "Hello Abraxas" Her perfect lips twitched at the side of her mouth.
Wearing the white Hogwarts shirt with the black pleated skirt, a little higher then it should be at about 10 centimetres above the knee, she was wearing the slytherin tie but loosely and her sleeves were rolled up to her elbows. Her dark hair was in a french plait with some tendrils framing her face making her look very very attractive on the one here she had caught some lustful looks on the way here.
She leaned against the wall facing him. He was very attractive she had to admit and she had a fling with him a few years back but nothing serious, they were just both looking for some fun. She crossed her arms jsut below her breasts and waited for a answer from Mr. Malfoy .

Hearing that wonderfully smooth voice that could only belong to one Slytherin, Abraxas leant back against the wall again, relaxing somewhat. Belvina was interesting, at least to him. She hung out with Druella, more fool her, but she wasn't like her - in his opinions. He didn't despise her, nor make any claims to, and if asked would probably voice half of his true opinion of her. Sexy, desireable, hell even just downright hot. Whatever the word, he knew precisely that the two main cliques that ruled Hogwarts from the Slytherin sector all comprised of 'beautiful' people. Just some were more 'beautiful' than others.
"Belvina..." He answered with a specially selected cool tone. Mal didn't allow his interests nor opinions to surface on a hello, not unless he knew exactly what reaction he would receive for doing so. Some people were more predictable than others, and he would not dare presume to know Belvina's reactions in any situation. That would probably get him cursed...or worse.
Drinking in her appearance with what appeared to just be a simple glance, Mal recognised the style with which she composed herself. It was trademark Belvina, since he had known her. But that was classy to his mind. He had previously dropped his bag on the floor, carrying parchment and one or two books, nothing strenuous as he simply couldn't be bothered that much, so it was easy for him to imitate her body language and cross his arms loosely across his chest.
The Professors had given up on his uniform, as he wore it whichever way he damn well liked no matter what they said. His shirt sleeves were rolled up, top two buttons undone and it was casually untucked, but made in such a way that it looked right, rather than untidy. His tie had long since disappeared into his bag, once the Professor had yelped about his earring. Mal couldn't be done with whiners. He just made things worse for them if they complained.
"Whyever would someone like yourself be alone down here Belvina?" He asked casually, eyes finally resting on hers as he flicked his hair from his eyes. "Unless I'm distracting you from getting to the common room, of course.. there's no need to pity me should that be the case." Abraxas spoke with an expression of sincerity, but his eyes flashed with curiousity and mischief. He was quite content to be alone with Belvina for copious lengths of time, depending on their conversation/situation.

Vina cocked at eyebrow at Abraxas Malfoy and coyly ran her pale hand over her hair pushing the tendrils that had fallen infront of her face behind her pixish ears, That action just bought more attention to her beauty, her classic beauty. She glanced around the dungeon with expersionless eyes wondering exactly why Braxas had come down here in the first place, reading? Surely it's couldn't be, Tough Abraxas surely didn't read did he? Not when he wasn't forced too. It led her to be interested but not confused. Each person was different after all, other s more different then some.
Moving her left foot infront of her right making her body move forward a few inches closer to Abraxas, felt natural after all. She was a natural with the men. She had to bite her lip to stop a smirk appearing on her fine features. "Abraxas" His name rolled off her tounge, his voice was the typical trademark Malfoy tone, she had heard his father use it on many occasions, at parties or just generally when she meet him out and about, upholding the family honourShe ran her dark eyes over Mal's body sucking in his hot appearence. She knew he disrespected the rules and the teachers had given up on him, because whatever they would do he wouldn't listen.
" Well i'd rather not watch Druella and Edward suck there faces off each, so i dedcided to go out for a walk" Her eyes watched him as he flicked his blonde hair which was very appealing and knew that many gurls and some guys wanted to run there hands through it. She had the sudden urge to roll her eyes reconising the tone he used on many a girl. "Honestly, Do you thik that i would still be here if i wanted to be in the Common Room?" She titled her head inclined towards him, a amused look crossed her face.
She was one who would play games with the person who played with her. She wasn't no Mud-Blood wuss and guys admired her got it. Hopefully tonight she would hook up again some Ravenclaw would do, She would never sink so low as to a Huffle or a Gryffindork. Maybe she would try to get with that professional Qudditch Player who had come to visit. Wasn't all that hard. Cygnus wouldn't mind, as they were on a break, likely tommorrow they would get back together or something.

Her movements of course attracted his attention, and as Belvina raised a hand to brush some hair from her eyes. Mal let his attention rest solely on her face as she glanced around, perhaps questioning why he would be here also. It was uncommon, true, but then again no one could pin his every movement, so it could be simply that this was where he hid. The beauty of having so many alibies.
Belvina knew exactly how to get attetion, without being downright obvious - that was probably what he found enticing about her. The subtlty with which she could get every head turned to glance her way. He loved that, as he was trying to perfect it himself. So far he could get girls to do it... mostly.. but he wanted to be able to gather everyones attention. Perhaps a little greedy, he would see by Christmas no doubt. Then he would decide on his plan of action.
He saw her lean forward a little and he did nothing in response, refusing to be led on a dance. He was stubborn, so what, but he still was interested, and he could prove that in other ways. She simply said his name and he felt his eyes flash without his approval, showing definate pleasure at hearing his own name roll so very easily off her tongue. Mal's mind drifted slightly when thinking about that, but he showed no sign physically, instead managing to grin and snap himself back to reality.
Hearing his 'mortal enemy's' name his smile faded and he scowled slightly. "No one wants to see that...." He loathed that he could do nothing except watch his best friend be wrapped completely around her finger. She bugged the heck out of him by being in his year, but having a cursed reason to hang out near him made things almost intolerable. Still Vina's next words made his scowl fade again. "True.." he admitted and sighed softly, "I just didn't want to put you out Vina." Pouting slightly, Mal caused his words to mean something a little different - that he wanted her to stay and wished that she would.

Nicola's shoes clicked as they hit the hard flagstones. Her black shoes had slight heels and the noise rung around the empty dungeons. Her school uniform was neat, as usual and as expected. Nicola liked to keep up appearances, she wasn't the type of person who could get away with scruffiness and still be looked up to. Her tie hung from her neck, done up correctly but not in that suffocating fashion so many of her House mates seemed to adore. Nicky's skirt skimmed her knees, she had never seen why people liked to hitch them up. Long skirts were far more favourable in her opinion.
She had just come from a fierce hand scrubbing the bathroom. They had been planting up again in Herbology and the compost had got everywhere. Stuck under her nails, in her hair despite it being loosely restrained in a ponytail. Not that that helped much, numerous strands of her curly black hair had escaped. The dungeons were where she had come because she desperately needed some intelligent conversation. Most of her class had been mudbloods or half-bloods and had been infuriating her endlessly. And if she heard one more word about exam stress from her House mates she would flip.
Spotting Abraxas and Belvina leaning against the dungeon wall Nicola walked up to the two of them. She grinned broadly at the two Slytherins. Top of the school the two of them were. So unlike little Ravenclaw Prince. "Not interrupting anything am I?" she asked in a neutral tone.

Hearing someone else approach, Mal raised an eyebrow at Belvina, suggesting that they should fall silent until whoever it was got to them. Turning his head slightly as the newcomer spoke, Mal looked her over with a raised eyebrow and a cool expression. Ravenclaw and not important therefore. She should know better than to interrupt those that were her betters, especially Belvina and himself. Everyone else knew better and that meant that he was perfectly expected to be a little annoyed and surprised at the intrusion.
"Not lost are you?" He answered with a sneer at the girl, unfolding his arms and pushing off of the wall to turn toward her. She looked differently than the other housemantes but then again they all were trying to make an impression on the highest classed purebloods of the school. He personally thought nothing of her appearance, simply because he was with Belvina at this moment in time and things were looking up for his day. The interruption of someone that was hardly important at the best of times was not what he wanted.
[Ick sorry - short]

Nicola smiled lightly. Typical response really, she should have been expecting it. They were Slytherins who had made the cut, she hadn't. Several people seemed to think that Nicola was merely a Slytherin reject. Nothing more, about as worthless as a pathetic mudblood. That irritated her. So hung up on their own glory, when really they had little glory in the begin with. She did not voice these opinions though, she knew that taking such an action would not be beneficial to her in anyway. Insulting people openly who had more power than you rarely got anyone anywhere. Nicola tried to be careful in such situations. Her family had little influence as it was, she didn't want to lower them further. She was beginning to think that coming down here was exactly the opposite to preserving her family's security.
"Not at all," she replied smoothly, keeping her annoyance out of her voice. The irritation was only mild so far and she could control it. "I know perfectly well where I am," she added calmly. She stood there quietly, waiting for their reactions. Abraxas had obviously not taken kindly to her appearance but Belvina had yet to utter a word. It was obvious from his reaction that he didn't consider her worth his time. Just some lost Ravenclaw. Even if they knew she wasn't some worthless mudblood they would probably still not think very highly of her. The Prince name was not as revered as that of Malfoy, Black, Potter or Flint. "All I was doing was looking for some intelligent conversation."

"Oh! So you are aware that you're in Slytherin territory." Abraxas' eyes flashed dangerously, and he folded his arms loosely once again. "Shame,... if you'd have been lost, maybe we could just forget you ever having been here." He spoke with a coolness that had a sharper edge than one who was genuinely sorry would have had. In actual fact, it sounded more like he was looking forward to something, though his voice was heavy - as if this whole affair already bored him.
"Intelligent conversation... interesting... What makes you think that any Slytherin would want a one-sided conversation with someone like you?" His voice changed slightly, and his words became cutting and precise. Abraxas was not known for his subtlty when he was irritated. He preferred to be direct and to the point.
He knew her name - Nicola Prince - and he knew she was a pureblood. But she was a Ravenclaw pureblood, and that made her different to any Slytherin. Purity above all was what he believed in - but a pure Slytherin was worth so much more.

"Whatever makes you think it would be one sided?" she asked, a sharper tone to her voice. There was a dangerous look in Abraxas's eyes which shook Nicola more than his words. She remained calm though, or attempted to. She was becoming slightly more agitated, rather annoyed that Abraxas was refusing to hold a civil conversation with her because she was a Ravenclaw. "My house mates are currently being unbelievable infuriating so I decided to come and look for some more civil company." Nicola left out her opinion that currently she might as well just have stayed behind with the conversation she was getting. Then again, this did require her to think more than any conversation she had had with her House mates recently.
She folded her arms gently as she waited for his reply. It wasn't an act of defiance in any way, it was simply her normal stance. Nicola was mildly worried that it would cause more trouble if Abraxas misinterpreted it. She hoped he would not. He obviously had not taken kindly to meeting her down here. She understood his right to think he was better than most. Rich, pureblood, Slytherin. Yet she did not understand what reason he had to treat her in the same way as the mudbloods. Of course, she was from a lesser family and a Ravenclaw but that gave no good reason to his current behaviour. Nicola didn't like being thought of as nothing. She fiercely wanted to change his mind on that point.

"Because no one in Ravenclaw can hold a match to any Slytherin - even a first year has more about them." He answered silkily and smirked at her 'calmness'. It was funny to see people try not to show their agitation and irritation at his behaviour. But he got away with it mainly because of his family name and the power it commanded. Abraxas looked her over once again - very obviously, then smirked.
"Civil company in the dungeons...? Where most Slytherins hang out and where most people realise they shouldn't venture unless they're invited or have Potions class?" He pointed out and sighed heavily. "You really don't have a clue about how any of this works do you Prince? You're not wanted here, and if you were then no doubt someone would have met you to ensure that everyone knew that you were welcome."
Being deliberately cutting was a talent, so Mal felt, so by acting in such a way, he felt justified that he at least wasn't being childish in method.

"I have to say, in most instances I agree with you on that first statement," said Nicola. It was true, for all their brains and intelligence in the classroom they had so little common sense and understanding of the real world. It was quite extraordinary. Right now she couldn't decided who she was more frustrated with. Abraxas Malfoy or her fellow Ravenclaws. It was almost like tossing a coin, although she was pretty certain that currently Malfoy was irritating her less.
She noticed him look over her, it was so obviously deliberate. If he had wanted to hide it he could have done, yet he did not. It was probably a tactic of his, to what means though she did not start to guess. "As long as I don't hear about exam stress and have to put up with their whining I shall be content," she stated. Malfoy's tone and remarks were cutting and truly they were beginning to get to her. This was why she wasn't a Slytherin. Nicola was more sensitive to others comments than they were. Not by much but still more so. To be honest usually it did not bother her much, it was just when those of her own kind, purebloods, refused to accept her. It meant she had to associate with halfbloods and mudbloods all the time.

Belvina nodded her head answering Mal's question. She flicked her silky hair behind her head and glared in the direction of the sound. She instantly reconised Nicola Prince, Ravenc;aw Pure-Blood not as bad as a Huffle or a Dork but still bad. She listened to there quick-witted conversation, there was a reason why the girl was in Ravenclaw and Vina knew it was the fact that the girl was too senstive, she could sense it now just watching her.
She hid a smirk when Mal berated Nicola and then quickly replaced it with a sneer with disguist in her eyes. She turned on the wall so her foot was resting against it, accidently showing more skin. This was her's and the other girls territory and they ruled over the girls in the "kingdom" while the boys ruled over the girls and Belvina didn't want this wannabe in her territory. She sneered harshly at Nicola and pushed of the wall elegantly circling this woman. She eased out of slience with a simple line "And you think any Slytherin would talk to you? or let along look at you" She shook her head while watching her her left hand on her hip angled at a postion that made her look frightening"Your suppose to be a Ravenclaw, smart and witty and all that well obviously not, coming here without invitation " Her eyes turned icy which they often did.
She had just ruined a perfect day for Vina and she wasn't happy."You think you can come down here and accept open arms" She stopped and practically spat the last part " and cups of tea" She glared and moved back to her postion on the wall. She pushed part od her hair back. "Honestly, girl, This place is no place for girls such as yourself or your kind, here you fight to survive not have your head in some books, your just as pathetic as those other bookworms".
Disgust and hate was visisble in her eyes as she glanced towards Mal, she had her turn and now it was his. He could ramble on but if the girl threatened her territory she would be found head-first in the lake, dead as a door-knob. She knew people who would do it, heck she had seen them do it, she wasn't scared,

Nicola watched Abraxas and Belvina play their little games. It was quite amusing really. Did they honestly feel that threatened by her? As they had just said, she was just a Ravenclaw. The comment about guys looking at her, that struck a slight nerve. She knew she wasn't that pretty a girl, bit too rounded. That was the politest way of putting it and she was rarely that nice to herself. Others were nicer but she had always been harsher when it came to her own appearance than what she thought of others. She tried not to think about it too much though.
Nicky knew she wasn't Slytherin material really but she kept up the appearance for her fellow Ravenclaws. Half of them had never even spoken to a proper Slytherin, too scared for their own skins. That was certainly a source of amusement, the current situation however, was not. Nicola did feel rather intimidated, most people would be in her shoes. So far her looks, her intelligence and her blood status had been insulted. Insulting her looks effected her less than the other two, she knew they weren't great. Her intelligence and blood status she however cared about greatly. She simple stared straight ahead not entirely sure how to counter that. And she was pretty sure anything she did say would only make the situation worse.
